The worn-out old pick up line "What's your sign" may have some merit afterall. The day a person was born gives certain personality and character traits. Compatibility among the signs of the zodiac has made for lively discussion and is the topic of thousands of books.
In the East, especially in India, couples see a professional astrologer to have their birth charts casts before they marry. Many marriages are still prearranged and the astrological compatibility between the engaged couple is considered of utmost importance before they make a final decision to tie the knot.
Here in the West, most people know their sun sign. You know if your are a Leo or a Taurus. But do you know what signs are easier for you to get along with?

The study of karma, past lives and fate has become increasingly popular. Many of the seminars I do around the country, focus on some sort of fulfillment of destiny and soul lessons. We all have certain talents and opportunities we choose to expand on when we reincarnate. There are also challenges and obstacles we need to overcome for our soul's growth. Even though I'm an astrologer, I also use numerology to help unlock some of the secrets of the soul. This formula I'm sharing with you is quite interesting. For it points out obstacles on the life path that may interfere with achieving your destiny. Some of you may have several obstacles. Others may have just one. Some may have none. Imagine that!
With this numerology theory we use your name given at birth. The spelling of your name lends itself to a certain vibration. Each letter in your name has a numerical value. Each number has a special meaning. If you lack certain numbers in your name these "missing numbers" represent karmic lessons. They create obstacles that must be overcome in this lifetime to help you fulfill your destiny. The challenges can be overcome if you are aware of them.
Let's begin. First write your name, exactly as it appears on your birth certificate. Next, using the following diagram, put the matching number under each letter. You do not add these together. All you want to do is see what numbers are missing. A missing number (vibration) points to your life's obstacle that must be overcome for the advancement of the soul.

Asteroid Number 433 A.K.A. Eros, is one of the near-earth asteroids. Eros orbits between Venus and Mars and takes 1.76 years to complete a full cycle. Orbiting between the planet of love and beauty and the sexual, passionate Mars, Eros is also called the god of love.

Really can't wait to get back to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. I'll be riding in the Iris Parade on Saturday with my French Quarter neighbor Denise. Our costumes are Native American themed this year.
