As you know, we wrapped up our Sense of Sedona trip a few weeks ago but we are still getting letters from the friends you traveled with us!

Dear Maria and Clay,
Shelley and I arrived home from Sedona on Tuesday eve. We spent the extra day on a tour of the Grand Canyon. Fabulous!

I would like to extend to both of you my Infinite love and gratitude for such a perfectly wonderful event. Even the weather cooperated! Each day was so nicely orchestrated. The people that were drawn to this long weekend were just lovely. The accommodations (Sky Ranch Lodge) were exactly where we needed to be. I healed so quickly this week!!!! My doctors are amazed and I am just thankful. Thank you for your hard work and continued positive attitude. It was truly a high for me. I look forward to many more gatherings in the years to come.

It took me long enough, but I finally committed to going on one of the trips you sponsor. I have to say, I couldn't have been more pleased. The "SENSE of SEDONA RETREAT" was absolutely amazing. Enchanting?!? Yes, it was definitely that and much, much more. I felt such powerful energy eminating from the earth and everyone I came in contact with. It was electric! So much positive energy could only make one feel great. And not just me...everyone was ALWAYS smiling! Just look at the pictures. All the people gathered for this trip were so friendly and fun, it was like we had known each other for years.

The effort and research you (and Clay) must have put into the preparation of the trip was apparent as it was absolutely awesome. The SKY RANCH LODGE was an OASIS in itself. It was obvious you tried to make the experience as pleasant as possible. As always, the Psychic Fair was great and I attended each lecture and wallked away with new insight and information from each one. The speakers were wonderful!

THANK YOU for making it all available. All I have to say to those wondering if they should go on one of these excursions or not is, "SIGN UP NOW!" I went without knowing anyone except Maria and came back home with more than 40 new friends! Keep up the great work...I can't wait for the next Enchantment (Inland) Retreat/Trip. The following are 2 letters from a lovely Leo client. Both I thought were very interesting and could be of help to others who are going through the same aspects, especially all of the Leos who read StarScopes.

Dear Maria,
Hope you are keeping well and I hope you had a blast on your trip. I have some random thoughts. First of all, what is going through my head is that Saturn is in my sun sign Leo. It is finishing a conjunction to my Moon also in Leo. Soon it will conjunct my Mercury. Then conjunct my Pluto and then finally conjunct my Sun. The only thing I can say is Whew! But this time I'm not afraid of Saturn. Why? Because the last few days, I have been in meditation and looked back at the first time Saturn hit all my planets in Leo. Here is what happened:

I was in a loveless marriage, no support from my husband. When Saturn hit my moon, I was so depressed. I was almost suicidal. Nothing I did was right. I even miscarried my only child.

Then, Saturn hit my Mercury; I got a flash of inspiration. May I could write? I started my first novel, writing while my husband was at work. Of course, he thought I was crazy, but I pressed on. I even enrolled in a college creative writing class, just to see if I had any "talent." I was thinking about my first novel last night. When I think of the way I wrote when I was in my twenties, it amazes me.

Saturn hit my Pluto, and then money was tight for awhile. But I still pressed on, with little support from my husband. Can you guess where this story is headed? Finally, Saturn hit my sun. Is there any doubt that when Saturn was directly on my sun, I left him? I saw the door cracked open and ran for my life. I moved back in with my parents, went back to college and got my degree. But that part of my life is now over. This time I know I can write and nothing is going to stop me. I only want to draw supportive people to me.

For anybody is a Leo with Saturn my advice for you is to press on! After Saturn leaves Leo, your life is going to change, but for the better.

Dear Maria,
As promised, here is the second email: The value of the solar return chart. In fact, I am beginning to think that the solar return chart is more important indicator of future trends than the regular reading of the natal chart.

Last year, I had my first solar return chart done. I had high hopes of my novel being published.The solar return chart meant that my focus for the year was to be out of the “public view.” The solar return indicated that this trend favored a new writing project. Just before my birthday, I got a brilliant idea for a new screenplay. So, this year, I have spent the year, writing the screenplay, making new contacts as my Natal Jupiter was on my 10th house cusp( work and career). I had good aspects. As I look back on the previous year, it was my duty to lay the groundwork for my success this up and coming year.

For this year's birthday, the solar return chart says alot about my career. Guess where I am headed? Already, I am beginning to feel the effects of the New Year. The solar return said I would have difficulties in the 9th house(publishing world). The novel I thought would be published wasn't due the publishing house going out of business. The owner is declaring bankruptcy so I won't be able to collect any monies. And yes, I was denied some legal rights with the screenplay.

I had my Natal Saturn on the 3rd house cusp which rules neighbors. I had a heavy obligation this year as a close neighbor was a crime victim, lost both her mother and her job. But I feel that sense of obligation beginning to loosen. The position of Saturn also meant to me to “get serious” about my writing. Which I did.

As a whole I would recommend everyone get his or her solar return done once a year. It would also make one heck of a birthday present.

P.S. I know I have discussed the effect of Saturn in Leo, but the more I reflect, the more I have come to understand that my old way of life for the past thirty years is dying. It is time to embrace my new life. And with Saturn in Leo, it gives me the courage to lead with my heart.
