What a wonderful summer it is turning out to be! I have written an article on finding your luck, fortune and fate. But first here's our updated schedule:

I will be offering special free lectures throughout the day. We will have body workers, readers and a vendor area to shop in. This is our first fair since Katrina. Our last fair was held just two weeks before Katrina hit so we are anxious to see everyone again!

In addition, we have had many readers sign up to give consultations at the Conference. You can meet for individual sessions with all of our speakers as well as the readers in the Muses Hall from 8a.m. to 10p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 8a.m. to 6p.m. that Sunday. Hi there. I hope all is well with you. It is interesting what you write about Pluto and relationships. I thought it had to do with Venus being retrograde. I ended my relationship with Matt after a year and 4 months. I broke it off last week. It hurts but it seems like the right things to do. Makes me wonder how these aspects are affecting my decision making.

Dear T. - I have heard from many people after I wrote this article..some are breaking off relationships, others refuse to become a victim in one, etc. But what Pluto is doing is bringing buried issues to the forefront so you have to address them and begin the healing process. For some people this means breaking off the relationship. For others, it means working through it. Many times the issues have to do with childhood ones that were never healed and are still affecting their current relationships.

I was just sitting here thinking about how sad and lost I am right now and there you were. (I opened up your latest newsletter with the article about healing the heart.) As always, you are a Godsend and I'm so blessed to call you friend. If nothing else, knowing that something will change in this next 5 months or so is at least some kind of end to what we are all going through. Thanks you for sharing this with all of us who feel utterly abandoned by all good things, at this time and place. The world is a shaky place for all right now. I have something very exciting to tell you! I brought the rose quartz heart gemstone from you and carried it with me for a few days, hoping to attract a new guy...that I was attracted to too. I was just about to give up after five days of nothing, when I literally bumped into this handsome guy in our office's lunchroom. Now, mind you, there are over 400 employees in our company so it is not unusual to meet someone you don't know. We started talking and sat together at lunch. In the last StarScope newsletter, I mentioned I would be writing an article on Good Luck aspects in our astrology charts. Here it is!

The Goddess of Good Fortune and Fate.......
She is known as Fortuna

We all probably know someone who seems to have the Midas touch; the person who always lands on their feet and seems to draw good fortune to them easily. Some of us have to work very hard for everything we get. While good luck finds some of our friends almost effortlessly. Can we say good luck is related to karma? In some cases, yes, it is. But in many cases, it has to do with an aspect we all have in our astrological charts. Your astrology chart is based on the day, time and location of your birth. In it, there is a wealth of information about our past lives, present situations and future. And our chart can also reveal if we will be lucky and in what area of our life, we can expect to be lucky! Yes, it's that simple.

What we astrologers look for in your natal chart is the Roman goddess of fortune and fate, Fortuna. Fortuna represents the wheel of fortune with June 24th recognized as her own special day. Based on mythology, this goddess' placement in your chart can foretell whether you will be lucky, unlucky and in what area. Let's say one day your luck is down and you are looking for a light at the end of the tunnel. Well, when Fortuna makes an aspect in your chart, in a positive way of course, your luck will be on the upswing.

I have so many clients ask me about the best times to go to Las Vegas or to find prosperity or when their lives will take a turn for the better. Beside lucky Jupiter, Venus and other transits, it is also helpful for me to take a look at what Fortuna is doing in their birth charts.It can give me another advantage in predicting good luck.

Once I locate Fortuna's placement in a client's chart, it's very obvious what type of good luck they will have, when they will have it and sometimes, even who the good luck will come through. Sometimes, Fortuna can reveal a specific person or situation that brings the luck. Likewise, Fortuna can reveal the type of situation or person that would bring bad luck. So once you know what sign Fortuna was in at your birth, the house of the chart she falls in and the aspects she makes, we can get a clear picture of fate and fortune. For instance, Fortuna is in Capricorn in my chart, falling in my third house of my natal chart which represents communication, writing, etc. I will be lucky with creative expression. Ever since I was seven years old, I was writing. I even won contests as a child and teen for my writing. My first job when I was fifteen was writing a column for my hometown newspaper. I make a living writing for the National Enquirer and other magazines. Also I found that Capricorn people are lucky for me, especially those born around 24 degrees, the degree of Fortuna in my chart. That would mean someone born in mid January... which brings to mind my dear Aunt, who was instrumental in helping me through a lengthy estate battle over my father's assets. She fought hard so my father's wishes were met and I was able to keep my childhood home because of her help. So now, I know any time I meet someone with a 24 degree Capricorn sun sign, they could be lucky for me. Whenever I have a nice aspect to Fortuna in my chart by a transiting planet, I know before it hits and plan ahead.

When we compare our charts to those of our business associates, bosses and even lovers, we can see if the relationship will be a good one or a bad one. I I had a boyfriend once who's Venus was at 23 degrees Capricorn. Remember, my Fortuna is at 24 degrees Capricorn so I was lucky for him; in the sense that I was able to help him find work when he needed it. When I worked as a news reporter, I was always getting free tickets and backstage concert passes so he was lucky to meet some huge music stars and be in the VIP box.

On the other hand, I had a boss who's mercury was opposite my Fortuna and we never did understand one another well and that lead to conflicts in communication.

If Fortuna shows up in the 5th house of your chart, you could be lucky at the casinos. If it's in the 10th house, you'll be lucky in your career and so on. If you know where your good fortune and fate lies, you can activate the energies of the luck. Why waste your time in an area that you won;t be lucky in? Understand where the luck lies and work that parts of your chart for maximum benefit.

I have always said that your astrology chart holds the answers to almost anything you want to know or understand. This knowledge can help us break through barriers holding us back and draw positive opportunities to us as well.
