What a fun month we have in store! We will be in Port Huron and Lapeer, MI this weekend for our annual Customer Appreciation Fairs. I have also written an article for you on Balancing karma in your relationships. But first I am excited to talk about Our CBS Radio Network show, "The Maria Shaw Show". We kick off our summer road show tour June 10-13 on Mackinac Island. We'll broadcast live from the Island as we step back in time and explore the romance of past lives and time travel from the popular movie, "Somewhere in Time" which was filmed on the Island. Join my co hosts Sexy Sag Joe and Whiny Pisces Matt for a special summer romance theme week and we'll wind up our week on Friday the 13th with the Ghosts of Mackinac and other spooky features. I want to thank actor Tony Danza for being my special guest on our show Monday. Tony was actually working out at the gym when he called me and talked for about a half hour about his new cookbook and his NYC show. More Moldavite News - The Stone of Transformation
This gemstone has truly changed my life. I am still in awe of what its energy has done for me. I am still getting reports from clients whose life it has changed. The guys I work with at CBS each have their own moldavite and wear it or carry it with them everyday. Karmic Balancing in Relationships

Our souls seek balance and often balance in a spiritual sense relates to karma. If you really think about it, karma is the law of balance.. We reap what we sow. Karma is the result of your actions and is neither good nor bad. For each action there is an equal or an opposite reaction. As an astrologer who specializes in love and relationships, I often look for karma between lovers in their astrology charts. Planets such as Saturn, Pluto, the moon and the nodes point to karmic ties. But on a simpler level, for those of you readers, who do not know astrology, a karmic relationship means that there is basically a "balancing" that needs to occur between two people to teach a lesson. Many troubling relationships have been dubbed karmic but are not really as bad as some people would make them out to be. It's just that some relationships are harder to handle because the couple needing to learn the lesson are having trouble learning it or want to avoid it. Some of the most troublesome relationships offer our souls the most opportunity for growth. Think about it. We all remember the good times we share with someone special and they are great and memorable. They flood us with happy remembrances. But it's the struggles, the hardships, the tough times....that offer our souls the most growth and really change us on a core level. If you consider your years on the earth plane are like a school, filled with classes, lessons and amazing new discoveries, then you will want to learn as much as you can while you here. Those people you draw to you for love and companionship are very much your teachers. Each here to teach you something new and experience a new feeling, emotion and thought. The harder the relationship, the harder the class. But the more wisdom our souls gain .Think back to a class you took in high school that was difficult. You may have struggled with the homework and the quizzes. But if you really dug in and studied and kept pushing yourself to learn as much as you could; grasping every bit of information, and you passed with flying colors. Remember how good it felt to get an "A" on your paper? You were thrilled to pass the class with flying colors. Then you could move on, carrying the knowledge with you, becoming a brighter and wiser student for doing so. Perhaps we should consider this theory when it comes to our relationships as well.
When you are attracted to someone on a soul level, it is because your soul has chosen and needs that person (teacher and lesson) in your life. Both people are affected by the "connection". karmic ties exist between you and a lover for balancing an unbalanced life. These relationships can also show us what specific incorrect choices we may have made in this lifetime and past lifetimes. I am not saying one should ever stay in a negative or abusive situation but do not avoid challenging relationships because they offer you a chance for real growth. Rather than dubbing a relationship challenging or bad, perhaps we could call it an opportunity for growth or to repay some karma. It seems perception is the key. Doesn't; it? So at some point when you are finished reading this, take a moment to look at one of your most difficult relationships or should I say, the one you dubbed difficult. Think about how you have changed because of it. Ponder how much wiser and stronger you have become. You surely have. Then honor and bless that relationship for all that it brought you but most of all be thankful for how it helped balance your karma and grow spiritually. |

This Mercury retrograde will prove to be quite a wicked one because it is in its ruling sign of Gemini.
